Abstract

The paper discusses the events of the Revolution of 1932 as a social drama. The political event of the 1930s is thought as a series of performative acts and symbolic interactions of actors in conflict. In that case, the typical regionalism of federalism, then threatened by centralization, established frameworks for political action in the form of symbolic action.
