Abstract
Fiction that adopts the travel narrative as an initial outline for a comprehensive reflection on the relationship between history and fiction introduces the autobiographical element to the discussion on the limits and scope of the discursive fields. This paper presents considerations about this tripartite relationship from the comparative reading of the works of Bruce Chatwin and Bernardo Carvalho, and their intersections with the historical narratives.Downloads
