O LUTO DOS IRMÃOS: CONSEQUÊNCIAS PARA A SAÚDE DE CRIANÇAS APÓS A PERDA DE UM IRMÃO E COMO AMENIZÁ-LAS
Abstract
Objetivo: Reconhecer o luto infantil pela perda de um irmão e identificar fator de proteção e resiliência. Método: Este artigo discute nove pesquisas de sete países que analisaram as consequências de perder um irmão por doença na infância ou adolescência, em sua maioria por meio de entrevistas orientadas por questionários com autorização dos pais. Resultados e conclusões: os irmãos sofrem por não entender o processo de doença dos irmãos, não participar de seu cuidado e não saber lidar com a falta do irmão e do impacto da morte na família, e é benéfico que a família e os profissionais de saúde intervenham nesses pontosDownloads
