Resumo

O presente artigo surge a partir das observações e interlocuções do autor com um grupo de amparo e assistência socioemocional a pais com filhos envolvidos com drogas. O texto aborda as temáticas de vergonha, dor e perda no contexto das relações sociais, as micropolíticas das emoções e seus alcances. O cerne do texto é a narrativa de uma mãe, que sobrecarregada de grande tristeza, relata suas experiências nas tentativas de retirar seu filho do mundo das drogas e a difícil aceitação de sua perda, acreditando na morte prematura do filho. Ao compartilhar suas experiências em suas narrativas, essa mãe cria uma relação socioemocional com os demais participantes, indicando que as emoções decorrentes dessa relação com seus pares surgem efetivamente de uma construção social.
