Primary Health Care as a teaching space: challenges and possibilities

Abstract

The development of human resources in the health area is a fundamental process to qualify the care provided to the population and it is up to the SUS to organize such training. The National Policy for Continuing Education in Health (PNEPS) was established in 2004 by Ordinance No. 198/GM, of February 13, 2004 as a strategy that aims at the training and development of professionals and workers through the integration of teaching and service, with a view to strengthening the fundamental principles of the SUS.
