Abstract

This article aimed to identify intersectoral actions implemented at the municipal level for the prevention and control of Non-Communicable Chronic Diseases, specifically Diabetes Mellitus, Systemic Arterial Hypertension, and Obesity, in a municipality in the Vale dos Sinos region in Rio Grande do Sul. The methodological approach adopted was qualitative, using semi-structured interviews. The participants were community leaders and representatives from the municipality's departments. Data analysis was conducted through content analysis, supported by the Atlas.ti software. The results highlight the relevance of intersectoral strategies and actions to strengthen the control, prevention, and health promotion for users of Primary Health Care in the municipality, as well as emphasizing the importance of strengthening the support network within the territories. It is concluded that challenges still need to be overcome, and it is necessary to create organizational structures that allow for the effective implementation of healthcare practices in the territories. This study was funded by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) through Call No. 27/2020.
