The present study focused on the current relationship between Worker’s Health (WH) and Primary Health Care (PHC) in the context of the Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS) Confisco, located in the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The relevance of the research lies in the fact that there are still gaps to be filled in terms of actions in WH in the scope of primary health care, as defined by the National Policy of Workers' Health (NPWH), 2012. The main objective was to discover the interaction between PHC and WH, highlighting the importance of this relationship, advances and, mainly, the challenges still existing in the development of policies to protect worker’s health. The information supporting this study was obtained in a qualitative cross-sectional research, whose methodology included an online research wheel with UBS professionals and semi-structured interviews with professionals from the Centro de Referência em Saúde do Trabalhador (CEREST) and users of the UBS. Absence of matrix support, high care demand in the UBS and high turnover of professionals were critical points identified in the study.
