This is an account of an activity developed in the discipline "Project of Professional Intervention" with the objective of providing a circular dance experience for undergraduate nursing students from a university located in the northwest of Rio Grande do Sul, in the second half of 2018. This is a practice inspired by different cultures and peoples, conducted in a group and in a circle, with a view to physical, mental and social well-being, promotes relaxation, concentration and body awareness. It was observed that, at the end of the activities, the participants, in addition to demonstrating joy and renewed energies, were able to broaden their knowledge on the subject and were encouraged to use the Integrative and Complementary Practices in nursing, in order to promote care beyond the hegemonic model, to provide well-being and quality of life to users.
