Victor Vincent Valla: pioneer of research and academic formation in the field of popular health education
Abstract
Victor Vincent Valla was the first researcher of academic renown to dedicate himself to the study of the peculiarities and inherent challenges of the application of popular education in the specific field of community health. He actively participated in the academic training of many of the current leadership and researchers of Popular Education in Health. His presence strongly influenced the characteristics of the movement of health education for the disadvantaged. This study tries, through an analysis by some researchers who closely accompanied his academic work, to understand his theoretical contribution to Popular Education.Downloads
