Mimetic Assemblages of Lycidlike Cerambycidae (Insecta: Coleoptera) from Southeastern Brazil.
Resumo
The mimetic relationships between cerambycid (mimics) and lycid beetles (models) are investigated in two forests of Southeastern Brazil. Eight lycidlike species of Cerambycidae were detected. The co-occurrence of the taxa and the greatest abundance of lycids through the time are evidences of the Batesian mimicry in Cerambycidae.
