8) A representação semântica dos multinomes jurídicos em inglês

Resumo

Inglês: This article aims at providing a representation of the so-called legal multinomials in the light of Pustejovksjy’s theory of generative lexicon. The multinomials are one the most striking features in the language of English contracts, and consist of sequences of words or phrases whose constituents are linked semantically through synonymous relationships. Under this representation, inferences can be controlled towards the required interpretation of each constituent of the multinomial.
