Abstract

Inglês: This work examines the verbal transitivity in the Portuguese language tends for base the Preferred Argument Structure (PAS) observed in texts writings of dramatic gender, technician, journalistic, oratory and romantic. It follows orientations of the research accomplished in texts narrative orals, by Du Bois (1985, 1987), on PAS of the language Sacapultec, of the Mayan group of Guatemala.
