Resumo
Inglês: This paper discusses the dynamics of the cognitive and grammatical features of [definiteness], [identi-ficability], [generic] and [specific] related to (i) the use of the definite article before proper nouns and (ii) the use of ter/haver-existential constructions in Brazilian Portuguese. The analysis is based on oral corpora, consisting of informal interviews with University graduates (standard dialect).
