5) Desconstruindo a linguagem jurídica: multimodalidade e argumentatividade visual nas cartilhas de orientação legal

Resumo

Inglês: This paper analyzes multimodality in layman’s law guides (booklets), observing how the different modes of representation which participate in their composition contribute for the reading process, for the production of meaning in the texts and for the “deconstruction” of the legal language. This work also investigates the visual rhetoric organization in layman’s law guides in order to comprehend how the visual elements interact with the written code in this genre.

Tradução: Este artigo analisa a multimodalidade nas cartilhas de orientação legal, observando como os diversos modos de representação que participam da sua composição contribuem para o processamento da leitura, para a produção de sentidos e para a “desconstrução” da linguagem jurídica. Dessa forma, o estudo investiga a organização retórico-visual das cartilhas, com o propósito de compreender como se dá a interação entre o verbal e o pictórico nesse gênero textual escrito.
