Abstract

This article explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence and the Metaverse on art, analyzing how these emerging technologies transform artistic consumption and creation. The study investigates the changes in authorship, ownership and artistic methodologies in the context of the media ecology. Adopting a socio-constructivist approach, the author uses philosophical analysis, surveys and netnography to examine the perceptions and behaviors of digital art collectors and members of online communities. The research reveals that NFTs and blockchain enable a new form of authenticity and digital ownership, while AI redefines the boundaries of creativity. It concludes that these technologies present both opportunities and challenges for the future of art, necessitating a re-evaluation of traditional concepts of authorship and ownership.
