Estudos em Daoísmo numa perspectiva descolonial

Nosso objetivo é refletir sobre as mudanças históricas do campo dos estudos daoístas numa perspectiva descolonial. Faremos isso através de uma revisão bibliográfica de especialistas que se destacaram nesse campo, resultando, então, em um estado da arte panorâmico sobre o tema. A perspectiva teórica é descolonial, tanto de autores que defendem uma descolonização a partir da crítica da modernidade-colonialidade, como Dussel e Mignolo, como também da crítica ao orientalismo iniciada por Said. Concluímos defendendo que a categoria de “oriente” e a divisão entre “daoísmo religioso e daoísmo filosófico” sejam abandonadas, dado seus malefícios coloniais aos estudos do Daoísmo.
