A teologia apofática como dimensão de aprofundamento do judaísmo e de abertura ao pluralismo religioso

O artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre a teologia apofática (ou negativa) no contexto judaico, discutindo o seu desenvolvimento histórico, desde suas raízes no neoplatonismo e elaborações no pensamento de Fílon de Alexandria e Maimônides, até suas manifestações na modernidade. A teologia apofática consiste numa forma de se pensar a Deus através da negação de quaisquer atributos imputáveis a ele, isto é, em termos apenas daquilo que não pode ser dito sobre a sua natureza inefável. Operando por uma lógica de superação da metafísica, a teologia apofática aponta para um conhecimento que não pode ser acessado pelo discurso racional, mas que pode ser mostrado pelo seu colapso. O trabalho argumenta que essa abordagem teológica oferece um aprofundamento naquilo que constitui o núcleo de sentido do judaísmo, pela crítica à objetificação de Deus e pela valorização do compromisso ético do ser humano. Além disso, ao evitar a absolutização de concepções particulares do divino e favorecer a humildade epistemológica no reconhecimento dos limites do intelecto e da linguagem humana, a teologia apofática se apresenta como uma importante via de abertura e diálogo entre diferentes concepções da realidade num contexto pluralista.
