Resumen

The article analyzes films about workers in the Southern Cone dictatorships. Through five films, I discuss the role of cinema in the production and dissemination of knowledge about a period full of stories and unknown personages. The films presented are relevant for revealing stories of individuals or collectives of workers under authoritarianism and also for its particular trajectory.
