Resumen

Filmed in the Amazon between 1970 and 1980 Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972) and Fitzcarraldo (1982) are films that bring a historical narrative about the region formed by the German filmmaker Werner Herzog. This research has the object of study that film narrative. We will seek to demonstrate how the Amazon story is also seen in the work of Euclides da Cunha, emphasizing the points of intersection of thought Cunha and Herzog.
