Resumen

This study aims to deepen the elements and characteristics inherent in the methodological field of history of ideas. First of all, seeking to clarify the existing discontinuities between the field of the history of ideas and the disciplinary field of the history of philosophy; and by contrasting different positions, we seek to understand through Quentin Skinner’s contributions, which possibilities exist for the autonomisation of a subject area such as the history of ideas.
