Resumen

This article contributes to the history of literature and immigration in Juiz de fora. Based on some interviews and Goldberg's writings, it alms to describe Jewish people in this city. Jacob Pinheiro Goldberg was born in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, in 1933. He has written many texts, articles and poems with reference to the time he lived there.
