The Dice Game in Medieval Castile

Resumen

The article is about the playing of dice games in medieval Castillan socieaty in the early middle ages, not only among various groups of the civil population, but among the clergy as well. Its existence may be verified
through many documents literary, iconographic, legislative and religious. The evidence relating to its constant
repression on the part of the civil and religious authorities suggests that these authorities were unable to put an end to it.
