Limits and Possibilities of a New Cultural History

Resumen

The present article intends to discuss some of the most important characteristic of the call New Cultural History. Dialoguing with some of its most representative authors and some of its hardest critics. It looks for to demonstrate that the idea of theoretical poverty credited to this line is erroneous, being due actually to a differentiated perception about the paper of theory in the construction of historical knowledge.
