Resumen
This work is intends to identify the discursive patterns of the leader of the Brazilian Integralist Action, the writer and politician Plínio Salgado. The chief Integralista’s central thinking was based on creating a concept of nationalism in order to successfully build a national identity. The article offers an analysis of the influence the author experienced in Portugal from Christian conservative groups, like the Lusitanian Integralistas, and from the Salazar policy itself taking place during the period of exile, when he began to define new political avenues for the foundation of the Popular Representation Party.
