Abstract

The purpose of this article is to abroad the health issue in Rio Doce Valley in the public health context of Minas Gerais between 1910 e 1940. After analyzing the issues that characterized the work of the State in public heath, it is remarked the late-coming of the Rio Doce region in the State’s reorganization project.
