1937, Brazil, despite of Fascism: the law of the Estado Novo and the Italian Fascism on the work, the collective contract and the salary

Abstract

The paper analyzes comparatively the founding texts of corporatism in the Estado Novo and the Italian Fascism, to show the fundamental differences that distinguish these two historical experiences. It is assumed that capitalism in Italy was in a much more developed stage, which reproduced the ideal environment for the emergence of fascism; The contrast with Brazil, which took their first steps in the process of modernization.
