Abstract
The article discusses the constrution of the Casa d'Italia in Juiz de Fora, since the first attempts at drawing up its project, with the coming of the Italian architect Clement Busiri-Vici until its construction, from the design of Raphael Arcuri. Highlights their aesthetic characteristics membership in the formulation, led by Piacentini, a modern fascist architeture, rationalist and classicist.
