Abstract
The article ains to show the reflexes in Brazil of the strategies implemented by the fascist government in Italy to influence theeveryday lives of Italians residing in other countries. To do so it analyses the construction of the Casa d’Italia in Juiz de Fora as one of the greatest demonstrations of sintony of part of the local colony with Mussolini's regimen. Based on this fact, we deal with the effort made by the fascism to reinforce the linkage of emigrated Italians with their original land aiming to the increase of followers of the regimen.
