Abstract
The article presents the development of political militancy of Italian immigrants in Minas Gerais in the three main strands, republican, socialist and anarchist and using a comparative approach to the case of São Paulo state, with which the mining centers with expressive Italian communities interacted constantly. It is used, thus, the concept of network migrant policy, pointing out the differences and similarities between Sao Paulo and Minas expression in the political organization of Italian immigrants, specifically partnerships between the political and ethnic mutual and leisure. Within this analysis were also addressed the issues of ethnic-national socialism and the relationship with the world of militant trade union in the construction of the Brazilian labor movement, and a transnational identity and class. It has also highlighted the trajectories of some leading militants who acted while in Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo, trying to understand how remained inside the militant scene and studied how the experience of Minas in particular, contributed to the development of their culture and political vision.
