Abstract

This article aims to analyze the Jesuit experience through the Kiriri language standardization forms. In order to discuss the bookkeeping culture in the production of instruments of conversion by the missionaries who worked with the Kiriri, as well as the cultural translation process in the second half of the 17th century with the missions of the hinterland of Bahia.
