Abstract

The following article search demonstrate how the families witch composed the local elites articulated themselves to get both materials and immaterial resources such in the province’s interior as outside, seeking establish social networks among both political and bureaucratic well placed people. The analysis lay over the strategic roll of the Law Bachelor, SebastiãoRibeiro de Almeida, and with it we attempt to expose the importance of those elites in the construction process of the monarchical State.
