Abstract

This text addresses the change of the scholar's Figure to the Intellectual's figure as the subject of knowledge in the field of historiography and what that change has implied in terms of the transformations of the rules which preside the production of historical knowledge. The passage of an erudite history to a scientific history is approached here starting from the change of the rules which preside the constitution of the own subject of historical knowledge, from the models of subjectivity themselves socially available for the individuals to think of themselves as historians, in other words, the text makes the transition of progressive substitution of the historian seen and understood as a scholar to the historian seen and understood as an intellectual.
