Abstract

Liberal political thought in Brazil based upon an analysis of four pamphlets published between 1849 and 1861. These pamphlets had significant repercussions among their contemporaries. The authors include Francisco Sales de Torres Homem, Justianiano José da Rocha, Teófilo Otoni and Tavares Bastos.
