Medieval Aristotelism and the Origins of Modern Scientific Thought

Abstract

This article show that the conections between medieval thought and modern science are much closer than many authors have approached. More specifically, medieval Aristotelianism, um its Tomistic version, provided western thought with the bases upon which modern science was Iberian thinkers in making the Tomistic synthesis possible.
