Abstract

Brazilian Integralism had its heyday in the 1930s when the Brazilian Integralist Action (AIB) party was organized nationally, bringing together a militancy that embraced, body and soul, its political proposal. The Doctrine of the Sigma, its ideological and moral guide, was its reference. Stripped of the AIB in the Estado Novo (New State), Integralism persists in concept, and the Sigma is redeemed as a guideline for its current reorganization.
