Resumen

A criminal process, a case that captures the social and symbolic aspects of parent-child relationships among slaves. In this particular case, the infanticide perpetrated by a captive subverts the juridical standards of the community, thereby precluding the use of legal and symbolic instruments normally utilized to deal with social deviance.
