Abstract

ABSTRACT: Speaking about António Quadros, here we will consider an aspect of his innovative cultural hermeneutics that has been little attended to until now, which is embodied in his studies on the characteristic that has presented the strong presence of Sebastianism in Brazil and the echoes that it has found in his literature, about the deeper meaning of Minas Gerais baroque and, in general, Brazilian baroque and about “epos” and “mythos” in modern Brazilian literature, especially in the novel.
