QUALITY OF LIFE ANALYSIS OF MULTIPROFESSIONAL RESIDENTS IN FAMILY AND COMMUNITY HEALTH

Abstract

The multiprofessional residency in health is a type of in-service teaching in which learning takes place in daily practice. During the training course of these residents, several activities experienced can impact the quality of life of these professionals. This study aimed to assess the quality of life of multidisciplinary residents of the XXXXX Family and Community Health Program, comparing the scores obtained with the population of the city of Porto Alegre. This study evaluated the scores of different professional groups, also investigating associations between quality of life associations and sociodemographic variables. This is an analytical, observational, cross-sectional study, using sociodemographic questionnaires and the WHOQOL-Bref. Lower quality of life scores were observed in the participants of this study, when compared to residents of other programs and the population of Porto Alegre in the same age group. Psychology residents statistically different quality of life dissipators from the dental and nutrition groups. The scores in the quality of life domains were statistically associated with the variables ​​sex, race/color, marital status, maternity, housing and mobility, with an association with sleep time and leisure activities. The findings obtained in this study show the need to plan greater attention and support to the living conditions of multiprofessional residents, increasing the quality of life and learning of these professionals.
