Abstract

Rehabilitation actions are part of the work of the multi-professional teams that work within Primary Health Care (PHC) in Brazil. It is necessary to learn more about the rehabilitation experiences developed in PHC, especially those based on a comprehensive, expanded and social logic. Therefore, this article aims to characterize scientific production, as well as analyze and discuss the main activities developed in comprehensive rehabilitation experiences developed in PHC described in Brazilian scientific literature. It is a study of bibliographic review of articles published up to 2020, having the SciELO and Lilacs databases as a data source. Eight articles were included which ones were subjected to bibliometric analysis and content analysis. It was observed that the production, which is still incipient and exploratory, is concentrated in the Southeast region, with an important participation of public universities. It was verified a consistent predominance of “Health promotion activities, intersectoral acting and actions on the territory”, especially related to people with disabilities, and “Planning, programming and evaluation activities of the work itself”. They were also identified “Assistance and reception activities”, “Professional training and continuing education activities” and “Educational activities”. It is noticed consistency between the main activities described and the comprehensive perspective, what provides a possible path for further research on the subject.
