The study aims to analyze the epidemiological panorama of acute Chagas disease (ACD) in the Legal Amazon accurately, contributing to prevention and combat initiatives. It is an ecological epidemiological study, with a time-series and quantitative approach, conducted through data collection in the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN), covering the period from 2010 to 2020 in the states of the Legal Amazon. A growth of 35.71% in the absolute number of notifications was observed, with the highest incidence in the state of Pará, responsible for 82.6% of the records in relation to the region analyzed throughout the period. Regarding the trend of the incidence rate, there was growth between 2010 and 2018, followed by a stationary trend in the remaining years. There are more affected males (54.8%) and more than half of the notifications in adults aged 20 to 59 years old. Thus, the preponderance of Pará in terms of disease notification is noted, demonstrating the concentration of the disease in a specific portion of the territory, as well as the greater involvement of males and individuals in the productive age group.
