Organização do processo de trabalho dos coordenadores na gestão da Estratégia Saúde da Família

Abstract

This study sought to analyze the Organization of the work process of the coordinators of the Family Health Strategy (FSH) in a city in the western region of Santa Catarina. It is a qualitative study carried out through a focus gorup with twenty-two coordinators. The method of analysis was the Collective Subject Discourse, whitch originated theree central ideas: I) Organization of the work process in the coordination of the FHS; II) Intersectoral and interprofissional support in the Organization of care and management practices; and, III) Overload and lack of motivation for the coordinators and professionals in the FSH. The work of coordinating and managing family health centers has been challenging and has a direct impact on the technical and operational capacity to develop health care practices that advocate the essential principles and atributes of Primary Health Care in Brazil.
