Saúde da criança na atenção primária do estado de São Paulo: a repercussão dos diferentes arranjos organizacionais na qualidade dos serviços

OBJECTIVE: evaluation the quality of child health assistance in primary health care services (PHC) in the state of São Paulo/Brazil, according to the different arrangements operated. METHOD: An evaluative study in the state of São Paulo in 2010. Analyzed 73 indicators grouped into three areas in relation to the existing arrangement. Used chi-square and tests Z. RESULTS: Of the 2.735 respondent, 2.687 includes children’ health care. Family Health Unit (FHU) planning and better organization of attention to the child's gestation and health, followed by the Basic Health Unit “traditional” (BHU) with Community Health Agent Program and/or Family Health (BHU/Mixed). CONCLUSION: the FHU and BHU/Mixed were the services that most approached the care model proposed by policy of child health assistance.
