COMMUNITARIAN EXTENSION CONTRIBUTING FOR THE INSERTION IN THE BASIC ATTENTION AND FORMATION OF HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

Abstract

We present in this study the contribution of the insertion of a group of health graduation students in the basic attention for the humanized professionals training. Thus, the agreement of the extension students of the Project of Extension “Searching for humanized health professional training” (SIEX Brasil 033770) had been compared that had not participated of the project, as control group. The methodology included the text construction on the vision of the Unified Health Service (SUS) at two moments: April 2007 and February 2008, that is, before and after the participation in the project. Qualitative analysis was executed and important change in the vision of the process health-illness, of the paper of the public university and the health service in the health professional training was identified enters the entailed students to the project.
