The insertions of the phonoaudiologic at the Family Health Strategy: a case report

Abstract

This study attempted to understand the insertions and the contributions in a phonoaudiologic action in Family Health Strategy situated in the basic unity in Santo Antônio, Juiz de Fora’s borough, and was built from a descritive and qualitative analisys of the fonoaudiology insertion in the multidisciplinar team of family health strategy and their contribution on the comunication’s primary, developted in the languages workshops, voice, orofacial motricity and house visits in this unit. The analisys, was also complemented and enriched by the aplication of a questionnaire to the  multidisciplinar professionals of a Family Health Strategy team. The questionnaire’s analisys allow us to verify that in a short time was difficlt, if not possible to get more in touch with the team, hence the professionals keeps having a restrict knowledge about the fonoaudiology contributions to your professional action and about the need of this profession’s insertion in the public health, was verified that with the of a fonoaudiologist for act in the family health strategy, it is very important to put the phonoaudiology in the team, making betters and greaters contributions for that strategy and for the public health. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
