Equity and health promotion in the Family Health Program: challenges to be faced

Abstract

The Family Health Program incorporates equity and health promotion into its proposal. This article aims to show the frequency the ‘equity’ in health promotion policies. This article also intends to present important challenges Family Health Program have to face so that ‘equity’ and ‘health promotion’ take part in the routine of work of the healthcare teams.
