Abstract

On behalf of the Editorial Board, it is with great pride and sincere privilege that I am writing this message to present the first issue of the Quarks – Brazilian Electronic Journal of Physics, Chemistry and Materials Science. We would like to thank everyone who trusted our work by submitting their articles for this first edition. This Journal deals with the structure, properties and uses of materials in the fields of Physics, Chemical, Biomedical, Nuclear and Environmental Engineering. The aim of the journal is to publish highquality papers from academia and practitioners in all areas of physics, chemistry and material science by ensuring its scientific concern and magnitude and offering a common platform for researchers and students.
