Abstract

The present article aims to present the book The legends of Dandara by the author Jarid Arraes, which is a narrative of the rescue of memory and history. The book is a string that tells the story of a black woman who was a great leader, a great warrior who fought alongside Zumbi of Palmares, to defend the black people and the Quilombo.
