Through theoretical and bibliographical research, reviewing the informational context developed in recent years, we argue that post-truth is mainly characterized by articulating aspects of Peircean phenomenological firstness, with the aim of affecting the cognitive aesthetic dimension. This investigation, associated with the emergence of generative artificial intelligences promoted by Large Language Models (LLM), seeks to reflect on the level at which disinformation can also be addressed by these language models. Although artificial intelligence currently seems, in the Kantian sense, not to produce a priori synthetic judgments, the question remains open given the fast and exponential development that these technologies have shown.
Leonardo Ripoll, Vinicius Romanini Copyright (c) 2025 Leonardo Ripoll, Vinicius Romanini https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://periodicos.ufjf.br/index.php/triades/article/view/45071 Tue, 14 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Imagine https://periodicos.ufjf.br/index.php/triades/article/view/44796
This paper presents, in a relationship between theory and practice and supported by the work of the research group Algo+ritmo, how Artificial Intelligence services can contribute to design processes in Architecture and Urbanism. It is based on theories dedicated to digital technology and culture, such as Conversation Theory, Systems Theory, Second Order Cybernetics and Peircean Semiotics. The objective is to discuss a possible use of Artificial Intelligence, through Midjourney, in digital design processes and identify in which stages of this process this technology can collaborate and how it can collaborate. The methodological procedures adopted were a bibliographic review related to the topic, observation of experience in propositional disciplines and workshops on the Architecture and Urbanism Course at Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul and verification, in practice, of the use of Midjourney. We understand that online Artificial Intelligence services, considering their limitations, can contribute to the design stage of the project process, configuring a cybersemiotic system of evolutionary representation.
Gilfranco Alves, Juliana Trujillo Copyright (c) 2025 Gilfranco Alves, Juliana Trujillo https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://periodicos.ufjf.br/index.php/triades/article/view/44796 Wed, 05 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Custom external breast prostheses fabrication https://periodicos.ufjf.br/index.php/triades/article/view/45034
The use of external breast prostheses represents an important alternative for minimizing the physical and psychological impacts resulting from mastectomy, especially when breast reconstruction is not performed. In this context, the pursuit of advanced techniques for the personalized fabrication of these prostheses becomes essential to promote comfort, self-esteem, and quality of life for women who have undergone mastectomy. This study explored the application of photogrammetry for the creation of 3D models intended for the fabrication of these devices, using a standardized protocol for image capture and digital processing. The results demonstrated that the presented 3D model was accurate in terms of dimensions and structural details, a fundamental requirement for prosthesis customization. The technique proved to be an alternative when compared to traditional methods, offering more possibilities in the healthcare field. The study’s limitations included the dependence on ideal image capture conditions and the complexity of digital processing. This study contributed to the integration of new technologies and the development of more accessible solutions for the fabrication of personalized external prostheses
Livia Maria de Tilio, João Vitor Gazana, Galdenoro Botura Junior Copyright (c) 2025 Galdenoro Botura Junior; João Vitor Gazana; Livia Maria de Tilio https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://periodicos.ufjf.br/index.php/triades/article/view/45034 Fri, 05 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0000 The age of artificials inteligences in mechanical reproduction https://periodicos.ufjf.br/index.php/triades/article/view/44766
Through a semiotic look at the problem of image reproduction within the Cultural Industry in the age of 4.0, this work produces a debate about the impacts of Artificial Intelligences (Benjamin, 2018) on artists who produce their works in the 21st century. To achieve this, the article uses discourse analysis (Bardin, 2016) of artists through news and interviews provided by three main news channels in Brazil. With this, we understand that this debate highlights a problem in which the production of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and human production merge to the point where it is not possible to define what AI has produced, the aura is lost (Benjamin, 2018). In this sense, we understand that it does reproduce current knowledge, thus creating Technical Reproducibility in the Cultural Industry.
Anna Carolina de Sá Brum Copyright (c) 2025 Anna Carolina de Sá Brum https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://periodicos.ufjf.br/index.php/triades/article/view/44766 Wed, 05 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000
